    • Have just aquired 'Hitlers Armada' by Geoff Hewitt, have notstarted it yet but have had good reports!

        Have already satisfied myself on one point Re: that dreaded word 'Sealion' according to German plans the most western point of the landings would have been Brighton NOT Newhaven!! Although nothing has ever been said on this point I would hazard a guess that the Germans decided on that western point knowing that Shoreham harbour was in 'spitting' distance of Brighton and much more suited for the supply shipping that they had in mind than Newhaven!

          Forgot to say, even railway lines!Which Newhaven lacked!

                    "Five Years, Four Fronts" by Georg Grossjohann

                    Pretty good book, I haven't read that many German WWII combat accounts before. It is very readable and unbaised as well.
