  • Heroes In our Midst

There are a lot of great books out there covering the history of the 101st Airborne or the 82nd Airborne. If you have a passion for the subject like me you could name a dozen books by a handful of authors that you would recommend. After spending most of my free time over the past week with my eyes glued to the book Heroes in our Midst I can actually say that I think I have found the must have of must haves. What really struck me was the detail in which everything was covered and the phenomenal photos of our heroes. This is the 1st edition and it sticks with the early years and that is what makes this book so special.
The other great part is that this book will be popular to newcomers to the world of Airborne and to those veterans of the history as well.
I truly believe that John Angolia and Jake Powers have raised the bar.

On another note, it has been a while since I posted here at ACG. Good to be home!
