Thanks, Ralph. We published the news on the front page, too: http://www.armchairgeneral.com/the-o...mega-patch.htm

I'd like to point out that it is not just a simple patch for TOAW, but a major improvement of the game engine and graphics, and all this for free. Kudos to Ralph and his team for the true labor of love

Yes it truly is a major overhaul and the game works perfectly on a new computer with Windows 7. Much thanks to those involved in making this possible. I am so happy to see this great game not fade away. Thank you!

How long were you working on it? Was it exclusive time or part time while you were working on something else?

Outstanding! I bought the game a few months ago and once my time frees up I plan to give it a go. I have been doing a lot of reading at Matrix and have followed the patch. Thank you for all your hard work. I look forward to learning the game indepth.

I've been planing to go back to TOAW for a while now...this just make me itch more.

Is there a list of the new 'community created' missions?

                        Thanks Boonie

Don't mean to hijack but I've been out of the loop for a while, before I joined the military (5.5 years ago) I helped a guy named Steven S. Stevens design a couple of scenarios for TOW ACOW- 1973 Golan heights and 1973 Suez Canal, IIRC they made it into the game in one of the patches, I also think they were modded for TOAW 3, if someone knows how to point me in the right direction I'll be grateful.

                          Boonierat,

Are you VCO's able to work with this new update? I DL your games before I even had the game in my hands. If not, I read somewhere were you can load the main game and save it and then update the game and save it as a different name and be able to play the older scenarios that are not compatable with the new update. Is that correct?

I have a similar question. Is it possible to convert scenarios from previous TOAW games to III? There's a Falklands scenario I want to try but it's for COW.

Anyway, I've been really enjoying the patch, excellent work.

These scenarios can be found found at Rugged Defense here:

Don't think they have been modded though, but ACOW scenarios are compatible with TOAW III.
