  • Hey, RTS Game Devs, Increase Your Profit$

Many games include a map editor or skirmish editor--to allow users to create new battles. It is usually poorly documented and difficult to use, with good reason, because of the needed massive complexity. HERE'S A BETTER OR ADDITIONAL IDEA: Provide one or more "mini editors," at least for single-player scenarios. Each mini-editor would be simple because it would be limited to one area, for example, unit characteristics. A unit-chars editor would let the player rename the scenario to something new, thus creating a new scenario where he could easily change just unit characteristics (ammo loads, etc.). Very limited and very simple. Another mini-editor might allow some simple limited map changes, again, very limited and very simple. Another mini-editor might allow changes in numbers of turns, reinforcement schedules, etc.

    Operation Sealion could have worked.

Napoloeon was a great human being.

Thousands of blacks fought for the CSA.
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.
