  • 7,500 Online Shoppers Unknowingly Sold Their Souls

A computer game retailer revealed that it legally owns the souls of thousands of online shoppers, thanks to a clause in the terms and conditions agreed to by online shoppers.
The retailer, British firm GameStation, added the "immortal soul clause" to the contract signed before making any online purchases earlier this month. It states that customers grant the company the right to claim their soul.

You cannot make this stuff up! The real stuff is far weirder.

I'm not really surprised. People are willing to sell them for shockingly low prices.
When I was a bartender and guys used to ask my the price of a bottle of beer I often answered "$5.95 or your immortal soul."

After clarifying that I was completely serious Several of them signed the little contracts I'd write up for them... I believe I 'purchased' 26 souls over a 3 month period. I had to stop as my boss was starting to get worried.
