Very cool! One of my favorite periods of history. Thanks for the heads up.

This looks insane. In a good way.

I really really want it. If you haven't played Mount&Blade its a very good game. And the best thing about these games, like Paradox Interactive ones, is the amazing modding community that exists out there.

And example from Mount&Blade: you can find developed mods for that game that can transform it to anywhere from a Roman Era game to one set during World War One.

Quick note: I just picked this up at Steam at a pre-release price of 13.49 (US). Seemed ridiculously cheap to me.

Its because its using the same engine as M&B, and the game was kinda released in Eastern Europe two years ago. Since then the developers have been working to update the game for a wider re-release; not just language wise, but in terms of graphics, AI, extra content, etc. Its a very small studio (the first game was made by a husband and wife team in Turkey, if I am not mistaken), so that can't do too much.

And to be honest, I think the lower price will benefit them because more people would be willing to try an interesting game for $15 than one for $49.

By ridiculously cheap I meant...'in a good way.' I never played the original (even though I own it) but the era here will guarantee that will not happen again.

I'd be glad to have a review of it

Surely. It would be like Olde Tymes.

To purchase ... or not to purchase ... that is the question ...

Doe such a low price I don't think we can go wrong.

What I really want is a multiplayer campaign, I'd buy three copies then, possibly more.

                              Never understood the anti-Steam sentiment.
