I did not like Witcher 2. Witcher 1 was pretty good, on the PC at least.

I love big, open world RPG's so this looks to be right up my alley.

      Definitely buying it for PS4.

        I do, too.

I'm hanging between platforms. I have the Xbox 360, which has been very good for me. The Xbox One requires a lot of Net service and will not reverse play my 360 games, so I am leaning towards the PS4 (especially since The Last of Us is now on the PS4).

However, I am thinking of getting the Witcher 3 for the PC, as I liked the first version better than the second, as Witcher 2's controls and interface seemed very clunky and unwieldy. I played the first one the PC, and witcher 2 on the Xbox 360.

The Witcher 2 wasn´t bad, I have spent many hours playing it..but Witcher 1 was simply better, it better depicts the world of Sapkowski´s books. Big, open world could be great improvement, but it depends on a story - I don´t want Geralt to be an ordinary RPG hero in the third episode.

I've settled on the PS4. I'll keep my 360 so I can play my old games (until the remastered versions hit the bargain bin).

Captain, you've made a good point. I'll get W-3 for the platform.

                  Excellent.

When you get the PS4 give me a holler on here and providing you sign up for Playstation Plus ($50 bucks a year... Well worth it imho) we can play some online games if you'd like.

I would love to, but I expect my 10gig a month, relatively slow Net connection will not support the sort of on-line experience you fast-living big city boys are used to.

I got a 10% discount when I bought the game on preorder for the PS4 this weekend.

                      Looking forward to May 19th!

I've got it on XBOX One. I love it.

I went with the XBOX because of Forza.

OK, I rented W-3, and after a weekend with it ordered a copy.

A bit more cut scenes than I like, but the inventory issues I had with W-2 are gone.

There's a lot more 'free world' feeling than I had in W-2.

                          Overall I enjoy my PS4.

It's an amazing game. Awesome gameplay, awesome story, awesome views.

However, I haven't played since I downloaded World of Tanks a week ago.

Finished a couple days ago after several hundred hours of play.

                              Very depressing ending...

                              Still a great game though!
