I got mine a week ago but have not had the time to even open the rule book. Since I guessed correct does that mean I have to post the next game?

        Anybody should post anything.
I just happened that I'm the only one who's ever bothered.

I haven't opened mine yet either. I'm hoping to play it in November at a local con. I see there's a VASSAL module out now. I might pick up a PBEM game sometime.

          How about this one...

            Pea Ridge, SPI.

Observation a buddy made about No Retreat! is it's obvious we're an aging hobby with the size of the counters. You can use them for coasters!

I mentioned the exact same thing to my wife when I opened it. I'm hoping that Fading Glory gets the same treatment.

And I thought this forum was bereft of gamers.

“The time has come,” the Walrus said,
                        “To talk of many things:
                        Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax—
                        Of cabbages—and kings—
And why the sea is boiling hot—
                        And whether pigs have wings.”

Hmm...appears to be from GDW although the way the hex numbers are printed throws it off for me (is this a VASSAL/Cyberboard shot?). At first I thought it was from either Battlefield Europe or Third World War but pulling those off the shelf showed that wasn't the case. I'm going to take a stab though and say it's either Assault or its follow up, Boots and Saddles from GDW.

Yup, Vassal Shot. Maps A & B from GDW Assault system. The mod makers did an excellent job on this one. Came up with a 'right click' system to record ammunition expenditure and neat invisible mine fields and other obstacles.
