  • Help setting up Civil War boardgame!

Is anyone familiar with the Victory Games game "The Civil War"? I ask because I own it and have wanted to play it with friends (and Civil War buffs) for a long time, but can't find how you set the game up to begin play in the instructions. I must confess my novice level of knowledge in this area. If one of you more experienced members can help me out, I would appreciate it.

I don't have the manual with me here but the set-up intructions are near the end, you've got set ups for every year (1861, 1862, 1863, 1864). They are presented as tables with hexes coordinates and SPs. You might also check this page for erratas and variants:

These are on pp44-5 of the rule book. The campaign set-up is the same as for 1861.
