  • Memoir '44

I just got a copy of Memoir '44 last week and i am truely impressed with it. It is definately the best produced board game i have ever owned. The art work, Board, Cards, Minis and the awesome rule book are things that just have to be seen in person to be belived. And the game play itself is simple, but it holds a grognards fascination as well. This is a very cool board game.

I have always read about "Days of Wonder" and their high quality products. I guess it isnt hype. I plan on picking up some of their other games as well - "Cleopatra and the Society of Architects" and "Shadows Over Camelot", just to name two.

Great simple game... ITs an awesome intro to war games for young ones as well!

      Update

I just picked up the Winter/Desert Board and the Terrain Expansion Pack and the Eastern Front Expansion Pack and they really add some demension to the core game. If anyone out there have the base game and are on the fence about any of the expansions, dont hesitate, they are all well worth the price.

One of the coolest facets I find in M44 is it's solitaire playability. It plays surprisingly well that way.
