    Casualties

I thought it would be interesting to post the casualty figures so far (turn 41).

I don't imagine this is breaking the fog of war too much, given the situation...

    British losses:

Men: 77,000 (of which 12,000 Home Guard)
Machine guns, light mortars, etc: 1,948
    AT Guns: 157
    Artillery: 559
    AA Guns: 202
    Soft-skinned vehicles: 1328
    Tanks: 479

    Destroyers:53
    Cruisers: 18
    Capital ships: 4

    Bombers (inc. torpedo bombers): 430
    Fighters: 490

    German losses

    Men: 175,000
Machine guns, light mortars, etc: 6,968
    AT guns: 904
    Artillery: 2,494
    AA guns: 206
    Trucks: 4996
    Half-tracks: 287
    Horses: 20,000
    Tanks: 632

(German navy omitted as that might, actually, break the fog of war to a meaningful extent)

    Fighters: 597
    Bombers: 494

The number of land units lost en toute (surrendering, overrun, lost at sea) is 1 division and 1 brigade lost to Britain and 6 divisions (including two armoured and one parachute) lost to Germany.

PFFFFFFFFT! just because the KM doesn't have any ships.... come on, its not fair that they should see a complete tally of our losses yet parts of theirs are omitted!

"ARE YOU READY TO SERVE YOUR FHURER?"

the massed troops replied as one

don't get too optimistic, the German Army receives replacements at a much higher rate than the British Army :-)
