Looking forward to it. Germany is running out of degreaser and we need some more of that mediocre stuff the French call wine. Once we get into the Champagne and Bordeaux regions we will be able to pick up some of their better boxes of wine. Then our troops can screw off the top and clean the dust off their tanks.

                Check out "The Briefing Room"

The info there is regular but always somewhat out of date to avoid giving away too much info.

Well, now that the French have thrown down their flag and are whimpering in a corner we only have the Brits to deal with. Based on how they normally fight wars we have to wait for them to buy some mercenaries to do the fighting, and dying, for them. Then they will come in at the last minute win 1 battle and declare that they have again saved the planet.

Maybe they will get Russia to once again die in the millions so that Britain can expand their empire.

The world waits to see who (else) Britain will sacrifice this war.

Needless to say, all the diplomatic overtures I have made to date are null and void.

                    Yeah, I said it anyway...

                    • So, was that the slowest conquest of France anyone's ever heard of?

Are the Wermacht useless, or merely badly led? ;-)

Well,... I've seen games where the French managed to last into the winter. That's the problem with a game that relies on odds tables and random number generation. If you only "retreat" the opposition instead or "eliminating" or "exchange"ing them, they tend to be able to hold on longer than expected. Besides, who would make the same errors as the allies.

I doubt even the actual German army could repeat its success in real time rematch.

                              • Relax boys! We were shocked that the Germans had that much of a struggle with France. After watching them struggle for so long we sat back and put our feet up and waited. Now that they have finally finished with a "spring" offensive, we are back at work.

Sealion, huh? Come on over and see the reception we have planned for you.
