  • For those who are still unsure about what "attrition" means in our little game this little blurb is a good example -

    http://www.historynet.com/the-6th-panzer-division.htm

The units themselves may still be moving and fighting as a cohesive force despite being in action for weeks at a time but the actual combat value is much diminished. It is one of the historically accurate facets of the game that make it so appealing.

    Cheers.

              • Most of those pretty Black counters that so highlighted the Reds of ours appear to have been recently squashed . Shame .

They're busy doing other things at the moment. Don't worry, they'll be back to play with you again.....because you enjoyed it so much the first time.

I hope they're a bit better next time, because we over-egged the pudding so to speak, in dealing with them. Pretty rubbish they were really, but what can you expect from those who spend time contemplating their ideals, rather than our own soldiers who merely train for battle.

                    • I guess that means they are scrambling to deal with us on the other side of Europe. We'll have a nice welcoming party for them. Our Russian friends are invited of course.

Really? So tell us how is it that if you are so great you have yet to get back to where you were before your sneak attack? If we are bad you must be beyond incompetent.

Sneak attack ? Who invaded who ?

The only reason we are not doing as well as we should is the fact that a game mechanic prevents us gearing up for total war . We are currently cruising to a slow victory without using all our resources. At this rate you will be A Bombed into submission by the West.

                              You attacked us.
Jeez, the Russians are trying to rewrite history already.

Which is a direct result of your attacking us. That is the penalty of you being aggressive.

Donít get too cocky. We are about to kick our production into high gear. In the next 2 years our production is going to increase by at least 500%.

No A bombs in the game. But they may beat us anyway. Without your constantly retreating help.

                              • It's going to be so much fun to see the reaction to what is shown this weekend.
Might even be worth another anecdote or two.
