That is why the Soviets suffer a Limited War penalty if they attack first.

I have no idea, to tell you the truth. I write out a very general set of orders, and then 4 weeks or more go by, thats 4 turns plus some, or more sometimes, and then we find out what happened.

It could be 2/42 by the end of today, I'm not sure about that either.

This is obviously a proper campaign with all that fog of war .

                        • The Calendar

It is just getting set to be I (week) of 2 (the month/cycle) of 1942 (the year). In general staff officer speak it is I/2/42. There is about 4 to 6 weeks of winter before the spring thaw and rains arrive and they could last from 4 to 6 six weeks themselves. One cannot be sure of *clear* weather much before I/6/42,... but it could come earlier.

Normally I try to get about a month done in one week. I will break the flow if something out of the ordinary occurs (done three or four times since 1939).

Is there a way in this game to enhance an aspect of our country. Better/more conscription, better/more tanks etc etc.

                            • I was wondering if the destruction of a population center would negate the benefit of it's being liberated.
