  • Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa - Turn 5 Decisions

Here we go on the decisions. Sorry for the delay there, but it looks like everything is ready to move forward again.

On further review, I have decided to handle all future events involving my less than stellar Chief of Staff, the well-named Herr Krappe, personally. It is my burden to bear, not yours.

Now where are those transfer orders for front-line service...

It seems that we can only reply to one option. Rather than reply I'm waiting to see if it is fixed to allow more than one response.

Oops! That was my fault. I'll see if I can find an answer.

In the meantime, feel free to post your votes in text-form so at least we have that around.

Well, we have made every decision in favor of supply and it is still our biggest problem.
I will continue to favor being moderately in favor of continued priority for supply, but I will have to be careful about spending more PP on it. I sense that there will be other things coming up, and that the logistics men will still be floundering no matter how much favors we show them.

Looking at #2 for fuel use, but I will have to vote later.

                          Spending PP wisely?

                          Here are my votes:
                          A. I vote to maintain offensive momentum. What we have done has worked well. Why take a chance on screwing it up?
                          B. Hand over the trucks! We need to get fuel to the front!
                          C. Extra Artillery ammo? No! Do not mess with supply!
                          D. Liepaja Convoys? Yes, it would help alleviate the rail systems!
                          E. Atrocities suffered? Acknowledge them.
                          F. Relocate FSB for AGC? Minsk is my choice!
                          G. Protect the Rail Workers in AGC!
We still have PP left! OORAH! PG 1 is stranded but we need Blitz posture for our Infantry Armies.

But we are running our panzers dry now. Will the costs go down while we sit through the FSB move? 2500 for sittiing still?

At the very least we should make the adjustment to keep costs the same. Maintaining the same Blitz modifiers will rise the fuel costs from 2000 to 2500. I think 20% fuel would be worth keeping our combat modifier at 50% instead of cutting it to 40% (a 20% cut.

But I just don't think we will have the fuel. If the panzers can't all move we will lose more combat power that we are trying to maintain.

Put your Panzer Groups on Rest and Recover and they will cut down on almost all your fuel consumption. Your trucks will not be hauling fuel this turn anyway. Infantry Armies get an AP bonus for using Blitz. This just might get them to the front quicker for you. Ask Derek about this to make sure.
