    Serious, if not strictly formal, gaming went into making the book. Few of the details are actually in the book, as it's from the perspective of one journalist. I sat down one evening to crank out the battle timeline, thinking it would take five or ten hours, total.

    Two months later I finally had a usable day-by-day table and a bunch of map pictures to use.

    Serious wargaming is real work!
