    "If"?

If this is anything like my first shot at Deus Vult, that sounds like an eminently sensible precaution!

Yep, sailing my way to Constantinople and then buying some Pavises. Of course I am going to get some peas..professional soldiers to carry the Pavises and extra bolts for my Crossbowmen.

Along with Pavises, I will be acquiring Siege Engineers and Mules if Tac allows.

The things like siege engineers and non-cavalry mounts will be done out of sight......no need to concern yourselves with them until you get low on supplies and start eating your livestock.

The church frowns on cannibalism. Of course are heretics and infidels human?

What are you guys going to do when your food runs low? I can buy some for a while, but I still face shipping costs.

I'm paying this turn, but I can't keep that up the whole way. What I do at that point really depends on where I am, I guess.

Lol I always fight the majority of battles in these games. I wasn't outright antagonistic. Orders were for peaceful requisition with payment in script to be redeemed at a later date.
